These sounds once required a whole rack processor to produce, this pedal has everything you need already set up to process this unique tonal palette in a modern, easy-to-use format.

MXR Joshua Ambient Echo is built on a foundation of carefully tuned tones and textures that embody the rich, atmospheric essence and sublime sense of space that are hallmarks of countless classic titles. All that's left to do is season it to your liking and take it to the sonic stratosphere.

DELAY DYNAMICS.
At the heart of the MXR Joshua Ambient Echo is a highly customizable delay setting that allows you to control not only the tempo and number of echoes - Delay and Regen controls - but also their rhythm. With a turn of the Division control, you can select from ¼ note, dotted ⅛ note, ⅛ note, ⅛ note triplet, double delay with an ⅛ note, and dotted ⅛ note subdivisions. Want the echo to die down when you release the pedal? Just press the Trails. Want an even more dynamic sound? The Echo 2 switch adds a secondary set of echoes set to a quarter note tempo - this can be adjusted in advanced settings.

For direct control over echo timing, this pedal supports both built-in tap tempo via footswitch and off-board switching through the CTR jack. An external switch lets you freeze the delay line even at maximum feedback, allowing you to weave leads and solos throughout your soundscape.

SCULPT YOUR ’SCAPE.
MXR Joshua Ambient Echo, allows you to easily and intuitively adjust the tone and texture of your echo. The Mod control washes the delay signal with rich, chewy modulation. Once that's set, use voice controls to elevate your entire soundscape to heavenly heights. Evoke an angelic, organ-like aura through a custom blend of -1 sub-octave, +1 octave up, and +2 octave up signals, amplifying the ethereal ambience already crafted by the pedal’s other elements for a truly otherworldly sonic experience.

EXTENDED EXPLORATION.
MXR Joshua Ambient Echo has been carefully tuned to provide an atmospheric glow right out of the box without the need for major adjustments. However, if you feel called to further sonic exploration, this pedal has all the tools you need to craft complex tones into individual soundscapes. In addition to stereo and expression pedal functions, you can adjust up to 12 different parameters, from blinking LEDs to mix of the secondary echo signal.

This pedal requires 9 volts (300mA) and can be powered by the Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter or the MXR Iso-Brick Pro, Iso-Brick, and Mini Iso-Brick power supplies. This pedal cannot be powered by a battery.
